Dr. Weijun Yang is the Associate Professor at the School of Chemical and Material Engineering, Jiangnan University. He graduated in Polymer Materials and Engineering (2013) from Northeast Forestry University, and then he obtained his PhD degree 2017() from Perugia University (Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Jose M. Kenny and Prof. Debora Puglia. After that, he moved to Prof. Marie-Pierre Laborie's group at Freiburg University (Germany), serving as a post-doctoral researcher. In 2018, he joined Jiangnan Univerisity. His current research activities are lignocellulosic materials and bio-based polymers. Dr. Yang won the Excellent PhD Thesis Award at Perugia University. He is the co-author of more than 80 scientific articles (>3800 citations, H-index = 31) and contributed 5 book chapers. He serves as the editor board members of the journals of Polymers, Journal of Renewable Materials, and included into the World Top 2% Scientist.

Dr. Xu Pengwu is an Associate Professor at the School of Chemical and Material Engineering, Jiangnan University. He is mainly engaged in the research work of high performance and functionalization of bio-based/biodegradable polymer materials, polymer blending and composite materials. So far, he is the co-authors of more than 60 academic papers, and receive more than 1500 times (H index 20), He was authorized for more than 10 patents. He is the host of some projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, China Postdoctoral Fund, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province.
