EXCHANGES Exchange and cooperation
1.Collaborated with the European Centre for Nanostructured Polymers at the University of Perugia, Italy.
Our group has collaborated closely with Prof. Jose Kenny and Prof. Debora Puglia from the European Centre for Nanostructured Polymers at the University of Perugia. We have jointly published more than 20 academic papers.
2.Collaborated with Piet Lemstra at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands
Approved by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, our team invited Professor Piet J Lemstra as the high-end expert, who was the former chairman of the European Polymer Association and the founder of the Netherlands Polymer Research Institute, and the inventer of Dyneema® UHMWPE fibers. We have jointly supervised PhD/postgraduates and published more than 15 academic papers.
3.Establishing the International Joint Research Center with Total-Corbion
Our team have jointly established the "Total Corbion-Jiangnan University" international joint research center with the Netherlands Total-Corbion Company for the development and application of new functional polylactic acid products.
4.Invited to participate in the BIOPOL-2019 international conference and visit the KTH in Sweden
In June 2019, our team were invited to participate in the BIOPOL-2019 international conference (7th Bio-based and Biodegradable Polymer International Conference). Our team were also invited to visit the Wallenberg Wood Science Center of Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden and the Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) in Switzerland.
5.Collaborated with the University of Freiburg, Germany
Dr. Pengwu Xu was invited by Prof. Gunter Reiter (University of Freiburg, Germany) and jointly researched on the mechanisms of single crystal and laminated single crystal of polymers.
6.Establish the long-term cooperation with some domestic universities
Our group have has established the long-term cooperation with South China University of Technology, Northeast Forestry University and Beijing Technology and Business University.
7.Established cooperation with some well-known enterprises
Our group have cooperated with some internationally well-known companies such as Lanxess (Germany), ARLANXEO (Netherlands), Purac (the largest lactic acid company), Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., PJCHEM Co., Ltd. and KLK OLEO etc., for providing the opportunities for the students with vocational education and research projects.
