Dr. Piming Ma is Full Professor at the School of Chemical and Material Engineering at Jiangnan University. In 2008, he won the master degree at Shanghai Jiaotong University. In 2011, he obtained the doctorate degree from Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands) under the supervision of Professor Pieter J. Lemstra; then he continued his post-doctoral research work at Eindhoven University of Technology; In 2012, he joined Jiangnan University and was appointed as Full Professor in 2015. He is now the vice-dean of School of Chemical and Material Engineering, and the group leader of Eco-Polymers and Functional Composites Center at Jiangnan Univeristy. His research interests are biodegradable polymers, polymer based composite materials processing and functionalization. He is the co-author of more than 150 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and was authorized for more than 40 patents. He serves as the editor board members of the journals of Polymer Degradation and Stability, E-Polymers, and included into the World Top 2% Scientist published by Stanford University.
